Essential Mint Oil

Essential Mint Oil gives a cooling sensation and has a calming effect on the body, which can relieve sore muscles when used topically. It also has antimicrobial properties so it can help freshen bad breath and soothe digestive issues.

Health Warning: For infants and young children, mint oil-containing preparations should not be used on areas of the face and especially the nose.  Avoid if there is an obstruction of the bile ducts, inflammation of the gallbladder, or severe liver damage - use only after consultation with your doctor. 


Essential Mint Oil - Herbal remedy for Salmonella: Mint-oil compress for abdominal cramps.  A mint-oil compress has an antispasmodic effect on the body and therefore, will relieve abdominal cramps. Rub 5-10 drops of essential oil of mint on the abdomen and cover with a warm linen or flannel cloth. Rest in bed and leave the compress in place for several hours. To really enhance the oil compress place a hot water bottle on top of the mint-oil compress.
