Health Warning: Avoid during Pregnancy. Repeated external applications of fenugreek can result in undesirable skin reactions.


Fenugreek Seeds - Herbal remedy for Alopecia: Soak one quarter cup of fenugreek seeds in a small pot of water overnight.  Blend and apply over head as a paste before washing hair. Do not use shampoo, just rinse hair and dry as usual.

Fenugreek Seeds - Herbal remedy for Appendicitis: Fenugreek seeds are considered effective in the treatment of appendicitis. A teaspoon of fenugreek seeds should be boiled in one litre of water on low fire for 20 to 30 minutes. Strain and drink several times a day.

Fenugreek Seeds - Herbal remedy for Asthma: Boil two teaspoons of fenugreek seeds in one glass of water for 10 minutes. Strain and drink early in the morning every day.

Fenugreek Seeds - Herbal remedy for Cholera: Make a tea by boiling one teaspoon of fenugreek seeds in one litre of water. Drink as much as you can.

Fenugreek Seeds - Herbal remedy for Dandruff:  Soak 3 tablespoons of fenugreek seeds in water overnight. Strain and grind into a paste, apply to scalp and leave for 10 minutes. Wash with warm water and dry hair.

Fenugreek Seeds - Herbal remedy for Diarrhea:  Fry one teaspoon of fenugreek seeds in a little butter. Boil fried fennel seeds in a quarter cup of water on low flames for 30 minutes. Add this to two cups buttermilk and take three times daily.

Fenugreek Seeds - Herbal remedy for Halitosis: Fenugreek seeds must be boiled in water for 10 minutes, allowed to cool, and then strained before using as a mouthwash. Use one teaspoon in one cup of water.

Fenugreek Seeds - Herbal remedy for  Malaria: Fenugreek seeds are very effective in boosting the immune system, add the seeds to your diet to increase your immunity. It can also be taken as a tea. Boil a tablespoon of fenugreek seeds in one glass of water, strain and drink twice daily.

Fenugreek Seeds - Herbal remedy for  Mumps: Boil a tablespoon of fenugreek in one cup of water. Grind into paste and apply on affected area.

Fenugreek Seeds - Herbal remedy for Snoring: Fenugreek can be taken as a tea. Boil two tablespoons of fenugreek seeds in one glass of water. Allow to cool, strain and drink two cups daily.

Fenugreek Seeds - Herbal remedy for  Yellow Fever:  Boil one teaspoon of fenugreek seeds in a cup of water. Strain and drink three times daily.

Fenugreek Seeds - Herbal remedy for Vaginal Discharge:  Fenugreek seeds help to relieve excessive vaginal discharge. Fenugreek seeds can be boiled in a cup of water and strained. The recommended amount of fenugreek is 20 milligram taken three times a day with meals.
