Beta-carotene Remedy

Beta-Carotene is a red-orange pigment found in plants and fruits, especially carrots and colour vegetables, which is converted into Vitamin A, an essential vitamin. Oinons, Carrots, peas, spinach, squash, apricots, asparagus, broccoli, Chinese cabbage, Chives, Dandelion leaves, Grapefruit, chilli powder, oregano, paprika, parsley, peppers, plums and sweet potatoes are all rich in beta-carotene.
It should be possible to get the amount of beta-carotene you need from your daily diet. If you decide to take beta-carotene supplements, it's important not to take too many as this could be harmful. Don't take more than 7mg of beta-carotene supplements a day unless advised to by a doctor.

Health Warning: People who smoke or who have been exposed to asbestos are advised not to take any beta-carotene supplements.
