Tulsi, Indian Holy Basil - Herbal remedy for ADHD: It is also known as gotu kola. It can ease anxiety and treat mental fatigue and insomnia associated with ADHD.  Tulsi can be consumed in the form of tea. Tulsi or gotu kola is available in teabags and loose leaf tea in health stores and Indian stores. In countries where fresh leaves are available you can infuse the leaves in hot water and drink the infusion.

Tulsi, Indian Holy Basil - Herbal remedy for Stress: Tulsi is good for stress. Chew 12 tulsi leaves morning and evening to relieve stress.

Tulsi, Indian Holy Basil - Herbal remedy for Throat Infections: Infuse 10 fresh or dried tulsi leaves in a cup of boiling water. Drink twice a day while still hot.

Tulsi, Indian Holy Basil - Herbal remedy for Tuberculosis: In a glass of warm water add 10 tulsi leaves fresh or dried, a little salt, a pinch of asafetida and half a teaspoon of ground cumin. Let it stand for 10-minutes. Strain and drink three times a day.

Tulsi, Indian Holy Basil – Herbal remedy for Morning Sickness: Chew 10 tulsi leaves before breakfast then drink a glass of water.

Tulsi, Indian Holy Basil - Herbal remedy for Mouth Ulcers: Chew 5 or 6 tulsi leaves and sip some water. Repeat six times a day.

Tulsi, Holy Indian Basil - Herbal remedy for Malaria: Mix 11 grams of holy basil leaf juice with 3 grams of powdered black pepper, take twice daily. Tulsi leaves can be either chewed or taken as an infusion. Tulsi is very effective in the treatment of malaria.

Tulsi, Indian Holy Basil - Herbal remedy for Obesity: Grind some fresh or dried tulsi leaves with a little water to obtain half a teaspoon of paste. Add paste to a glass of warm water. Mix well and add half a teaspoon of honey and drink it.
