L-Tyrosine, Tyrosine Vitamin

L-Tyrosine, Tyrosine: Tyrosine is an amino acid found in meat proteins. Your body uses it as a starting material to make several neurotransmitters (chemicals that help the brain and nervous system function). Based on this fact, tyrosine has been proposed as a treatment for various conditions in which mental function is impaired or slowed down, such as fatigue and depression. It has also been tried for attention deficit disorder (ADD).

Good sources of tyrosine include dairy products, meats, fish, and beans.

L-Tyrosine - Vitamins for Thyroid Disorders: L-tyrosine is actually an amino acid that can be useful in treating a dysfunctional thyroid. It is recommended as a home remedy because it helps increase plasma levels which can help you lose weight. It is also beneficial as it can build the thyroid hormone. No dosage can be given as this should be taken according to directions given by the pharmacist. Thyroid hormone deficiency is not the same for everyone.
Health Warning: Before adding this amino acid to your diet, see your doctor particularly if you taking any prescription medications.

Always seek professional medical advice before taking herbal medications
