Calcium, Zinc, Iron

Calcium: Sources of Calcium include: Milk, Cheese and other dairy products, Broccoli, Cabbage and Okra, Soya Beans, Tofu and Nuts. Calcium has several important functions, these include: helping build strong bones and teeth, regulating muscle contractions including heartbeats, and making sure blood clots normally.
A lack of calcium could lead to a condition called rickets in children and osteomalacia or osteoporosis in later life. You should be able to get all the calcium you need from your daily diet. Taking high doses of calcium (more than 1,500mg a day) could lead to stomach pain and diarrhoea.

Zinc: helps with making new cells and enzymes,  processing carbohydrate, fat and protein in food and healing wounds. Sources of Zinc include: Meat; Shellfish; Milk, Cheese, Bread and Cereal Products and Wheatgerm.

Iron is an important component of hemoglobin, the substance in red blood cells that carries oxygen from your lungs to transport it throughout your body. Hemoglobin represents about two-thirds of the body's iron. If you don't have enough iron, your body can't make enough healthy oxygen-carrying red blood cells.
Iron Deficiency: Iron-Deficiency Anemia is the most common deficiency disease in the world. Children require adequate level for cell growth and healthy development. Senior citizens may lack the ability to absorp Iron. Sportspeople carefully watch their iron level. Studies reveal that iron absorption is reduced by coffee consumption.
Sources of Iron: Red meat, Liver, Kidney, Almonds, Dried Fruits, All Bran, Spinach, Watercress.
Herb Sources: All Seaweeds, Burdock, Devil's Claw, Couch grass Root, Meadowsweet, Mullein, rest harrow, Nettles, Toadflax, Wild Strawberry Leaves, Yellow Dock, Gotu Kola, Parsley, Silverweed.


Calcium, Zinc, Iron - Vitamins for Thyroid Disorders: Take 200 milligrams of each once daily.
