Vitamin B6 & B12

Vitamin B6 is also called pyridoxine. Vitamin B6 helps form red blood cells and maintain brain function. This vitamin also plays an important role in the proteins that are part of many chemical reactions in the body. The more protein you eat the more pyridoxine your body requires.

Vitamin B6 is found in a variety of foods, including: Pork, Poultry, Fish, Bread, Oatmeal, Wheatgerm, Brown Rice, Eggs, Vegetables, Soya Beans, Peabuts, Milk, Potatoes and some fortified breakfast cereals.

Vitamin B12, like the other B Vitamins, is important for metabolism. It also helps form red blood cells and keeps the central nervous system healthy.

Vitamin B12: Good sources of Vitamin B12 include: Eggs, Cheese, Milk, Cod, Salmon, Meat, Fortified Breakfast Cereals


Vitamin B6 & Vitamin B12 - Vitamins for Amnesia: Vitamins B6 and B12 are useful in producing red blood cells which help in supplying oxygen to the brain. Vitamin B6: take one tablet of 100 milligrams once daily. Vitamin B12: One tablet of 1.000 micrograms once daily.
