Pau d’arco - Herbal remedy for Athletes Foot: Pau d’arco can be taken orally or applied topically. It has anti-fungal, antiviral and antibacterial properties.
Pau d’arco - Herbal remedy for Bacterial Vaginitis: Pau d’arco can be made into a tea to fight the bacteria. Drink a cup of this herbal tea twice daily until condition improves. Infuse one teaspoon of dried pau d'arco in a cup of hot ewater for five minutes, strain and drink when cool.
Pau d'arco - Herbal remedy for Melanoma: Pau d’arco is an immune system stimulant. To prepare Pau d'Arco tea, mix 2-3 grams of the inner bark into a teapot with one cup of boiling water. If you want 2 cups, then add about 5 grams of the bark. You can also use tea bags. One tea bag may be 2.5 grams. Infuse one tea bag in one cup of boiling water. Drink twice daily.
