Probiotics Supplements

Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts promoted as having various health benefits. They're usually added to yoghurts or taken as food supplements, and are often described as 'good' or 'friendly' bacteria. Probiotics are thought to help restore the natural balance of bacteria in your gut (including your stomach and intestines) when it has been disrupted by an illness or treatment.

Probiotics – Supplements for Bladder Infections: Choose a form of L. acidophilus that is convenient for you to take. The supplements are available in tablet or liquid form. Take between 5-10 billion CFU of L. acidophilus probiotics daily to treat your UTI. The labeling of your supplement will indicate how many tablets are equal to the CFU dosage amount. If you experience stomach pain as a side effect, try splitting your supplement in half and taking one of half in the morning and the other half in the evening. Continue to take probiotics until your symptoms improve. Drink plenty of water with your probiotic treatment to promote the flushing of unhealthy bacteria.
Health Warning: Ask your doctor about using probiotics as a home remedy for a bladder infection. Supplements that contain active bacteria called Lactobacillus acidophilus--sometimes written as L. acidophilus may not be appropriate for you to use if you are pregnant or have a compromised immune system. If you are lactose intolerant, you might experience gastrointestinal upset from this form of probiotic.

Probiotics - Gonorrhea:  Probiotics are also known as the friendly bacteria. They are good for immunity and flushing out harmful bacteria. Use as directed on the label.

Always seek professional medical advice before taking herbal medications
