Red Clover - Herbal remedy for Cough:  Eating red clover can clear toxins from the lymphatic system, reducing congestion that causes coughing.

Red Clover - Herbal remedy for Cysts:  Red clover is known for its ability to help balance female hormones and is often prescribed as a tea for treatment of ovarian cysts. Red clover is also available as a tincture and in dried herb form. It is considered safe when used according to directions. Consult your doctor before taking it.

Red Clover -  Herbal remedy for Increased Female Fertility:  Red clover nourishes the uterus thus increasing the chances of implantation. Red clover tea is typically made by adding one tablespoon of dried or fresh clover flowers to a cup of hot water. It is recommended to be taken three times a day.
Health Warning: While both red clover and dong quai improve fertility in women, they must be avoided during pregnancy to avoid harming the fetus.

Red Clover - Herbal remedy for Increased Male Fertility: Red clover increases testosterone in men.

Red Clover - Herbal remedy for Gout:  Red clover is available in teas, powders, extracts and creams. Drink two to three cups of red clover tea. You can also use a topical cream made with red clover and apply it to the affected gout areas to improve circulation.

Red Clover - Herbal remedy for Infertility: Red clover tea promotes conception by providing nourishment to the uterus. The flowers of the red clover plant come as dried herbs for teas, tablets, capsules and as tinctures. To make a tea, infuse 1 - 2 teaspoons of dried flowers in eight ounces of hot water for 30-minutes. If using capsules take one tablet of 150 milligrams daily or take 10 drops of red clover tincture in half a glass of water twice daily. The tincture should contain only about 30 percent alcohol.

Red Clover – Herbal remedy for  Irritable Bowel Syndrome: Infuse a few red clover leaves in a cup of boiling water and drink three times daily.

Red Clover - Herbal remedy for Menopause: Red clover can reduce symptoms of low estrogen levels. The flowers of the red clover plant come as dried herbs for teas, tablets, capsules and as tinctures. To make a tea, infuse 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried flowers in eight ounces of hot water for 30-minutes. If using the capsules, take 40-160 milligrams of the supplement daily or take 60-100 drops of red clover tincture daily. The tincture should be about 30 percent alcohol.

Red Clover - Herbal remedy for Osteoporosis: An extract of red clover can increase the bone’s mineral density. Take one 430 mg tablet once daily.
