Camphor and Sandalwood Remedy

Other Names: Camphor, Gum Camphor, Laurel Camphor, Camphire,  Cinnamonum Camphora
Traditional Usages: To reduce Troublesome Sex-Urges, Priapism - the Penis remains erect for hours in the absence of stimulation or after stimulation or Nymphomania, Muscular Rheumatism, Colds, Chills, Chilblains, Cholera, Fevers, Pneumonia, Severe Diarrhea, Hysteria, Nervousness, Neuralgia, Eye Problems, Inhalant for Respiratory Oppression, Difficulty Breathing, Heart failure, Collapse, Shock from Injury, Hypothermia, Tobacco Habit. Insect repellent.

Parts Used: Gum, Distilled Oil
Administration Method: Locally for inhalation in liquid or semi-solid form. Internal in liquid or solid preparations.

Health Warning: Avoid during Pregnancy and Breastfeeding. Camphor preparations should not be used in the facial regions of infants and small children, especially in the nasal area. 


Camphor and Sandalwood - Home remedy for Eczema: Make a paste by mixing one teaspoon camphor and one teaspoon of sandalwood with a little water. Apply on affected area.
