Health Warning: Do not get Acanthopanax Senticosus (Siberian Gingseng) confused with Acanthopanax Root Bark, both thee herbs have different tonic qualities and are not used to treat the same range of disorders.

Note: There is documentation in the literature of at least two studies in which it was recommended that Eleuthero not be given to persons with a blood pressure in excess of 180/90 mm Hg (Farnsworth, 1985). Source: American Botanical Council.


Eleuthero Root (Siberian ginseng) - Herbal remedy for ADHD: Eleuthero root (formerly known as Siberian ginseng) is a plant whose root is used to make medicine. This herbal remedy increases alertness and improves the brain’s memory function. It also boosts the immune system and relieves stress.  200 milligram capsules should be taken two to three times a day depending on stress levels.

Eleuthero Root (Siberian ginseng) - Herbal remedy for Fibromyalgia: Eleuthero root (formerly known as Siberian ginseng) is an energizing herb that can help resolve the fatigue associated with fibromyalgia. Choose a standardized extract and take 100 milligrams twice daily. Take one around half hour before breakfast and another half an hour before lunch. After two weeks, you can gradually increase the dosage as needed. After six weeks, discontinue the remedy for one week, and then recommence the remedy for another six weeks.

Eleuthero Root (Siberian ginseng) - Herbal remedy for Stress: Eleuthero root (formerly known as Siberian ginseng) is an excellent herb to correct the result of stress on the body. In particular it is helpful to mitigate the effect of an excess of adrenal hormones in the body as it helps to reduce the over-activity of the adrenal cortex. Mix one gram of powdered eleuthero root in half a glass of water and drink once daily for a week.
Health Warning: People with diabetes and cardio vascular disease should not use it.
