Dandelion, Licorice, Burdock Root and Gentian - Herbal remedy for Food Allergy:  Dandelion, licorice, burdock root and gentian are recommended for food allergies as they help the liver to work efficiently. When the liver is working properly, potentially allergenic substances are more likely to be eliminated before they can become a major problem. Infuse one teaspoon of any of these dried herbs in one cup of boiling water for five minutes. Strain, allow to cool and drink two cups for two days. Stop for two days, then drink for another two days.
