L-Carnitine, Carnitine is a compound used by the body to turn fat into energy. It is not normally considered an essential nutrient because the body can manufacture all it needs. Foods that are high in Carnitine include: Beef Steak and Ground Beef (cooked), Whole Milk, Cod fish, Chicken breast, Ice Cream, Cheddar Cheese, Whole Wheat Bread, Aspargus.
