Tea Tree Oil, Olive Oil, Rosemary and Eucalyptus – Herbal remedy for Head Lice: Mix 3 tablespoons of olive oil, one teaspoon of tea tree oil and one teaspoon of rosemary or eucalyptus oil into a small amount of shampoo - the amount you would normally use in your hair. Apply the mixture to your hair or your child's hair as you would with regular shampoo. Place a tight-fitting shower cap over your hair, this traps the mixture and lice together. Leave the mixture in the hair for at least 30-minutes. Rinse your hair thoroughly and wash it with shampoo once or twice to get all the oils out. Repeat this treatment daily until your hair is lice-free. Use a head lice fine comb to help remove all the head lice.
