Tamarind Remedies


Tamarind is a sweet and sour fruit that grows in pods on a small Tamarind tree with evergreen leaves. It is used for both medicinal and culinary purposes. It can be consumed as a raw fruit and if fully ripe can be dried and ground into a spice.
Tamarinds contain vitamins C, E, and B, calcium, iron, phosphorus, manganese and dietary fibers. It is both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.
