Comfrey Root Powder - Herbal remedy for Piles: Comfrey is a herb that is known to have anti-inflammatory properties and aids in the formation of new skin. It has been proven to shrink hemorrhoids, including those outside of the anus and make it possible for them to be pushed easily back inside. The anti-inflammatory properties are credited to its roots that contain a lot of allantoin. Allantoin is known to promote healing by aiding in cell regeneration. Make a cream or paste by mixing comfrey root powder with olive oil, fish oil and flaxseed oil. If you are unable to buy comfrey root in powder form, you can buy the pre-cut, dried roots that are available in many herbal stores and put them in the coffee grinder to make a powder. Then you can apply the paste directly on the affected and surrounding area. It is advised to apply it at night before sleeping and leave it there for the rest of the night.
