Sacred Fig Leaves - Herbal remedy for Mumps: Warm some coconut oil and coat two sacred fig leaves. Apply leaves on affected area. Sacred fig tree is worshipped by Hindus, not merely on sentimental or religious grounds but because of its valuable medicinal properties. The sacred fig tree ( also known as the Bo-Tree) is also considered sacred by followers of Jainism and Buddhism. Dried leaves can be obtained from Ayurvedic suppliers or online. In Indian homeopathy, known as Ayurveda, this remedy is well known.
