  • Health Warnings: Avoid during Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
  • Avoid with gallbladder disease.
  • If you have undergone or intend to undergo surgery for appendicitis, avoid using this herbal remedy as it can cause bleeding
  • Do not take turmeric if you are taking blood thinners such as aspirin or Plavix.
  • In the case of gallstones, use only after consulting with your doctor.


Turmeric, Milk and Raw Honey - Home remedy for Nightmares and Night Terrors:  Mix one teaspoon of turmeric powder in a glass of warm skimmed milk, add a teaspoon of raw honey and drink this before bedtime.
