Arnica and Ginger Root - Herbal remedy for Tennis Elbow: Arnica and ginger root both make effective compress herbs as they help reduce inflammation from the outside. First make a strong herbal tea by infusing 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried herbs in 1 cup boiling water for 15 to 20 minutes. Soak a clean cotton cloth in the warm tea, wring out any excess liquid and apply the compress directly to the elbow. Allow the compress to remain for 15 minutes, soak the cloth in the tea again, wring out and reapply. Continue until the tea becomes cool, usually after two or three applications. Repeat the entire process three to four times daily, as needed. Ginger root has potent anti-inflammatory properties.
