Yerba Santa - Herbal remedy for Asthma: This herb thins mucus in the lungs. Yerba santa can be used as either a dried herb or extract. To use as dried herb, mix one tablespoon of dried herb in 8 ounces of warm water. Strain and drink one cup daily. To use as an extract, mix 10-20 drops of extract in a glass of apple or orange juice or water and drink once daily.
