Borage, St John’s Wort, Lemon Balm and Valerian - Herbal remedy for Back Pain: If the muscle tension is due to emotional stress, take Borage, St. John's Wort and Lemon Balm or Valerian teas. A cup of any of the infusions of these herbs is beneficial. infuse one teaspoon of dried herb in a cup of hot water for 5-minutes. Strain and drink twice daily for one week.
