Broken Wheat


Other Names: Cracked wheat, Dalia, Bulgar, Burghul, Fada, Bulgar wheat, couscous
Traditional Usage: Improves digestion, bowel health, lower high cholesterol, respiratory diseases
Broken wheat or cracked wheat is made by milling whole raw wheat grains coarsely. It carries a great deal of nutrition and fibre and includes the outer bran and germ of the wheat and is a good source of iron, antioxidants magnesium and phosphorus, fiber and B vitamins.
