Cumin and Buttermilk

Buttermilk is the milky liquid that is left over after churning butter from cow's milk. It is low in fat and contains most of the protein found originally in the cow's milk. Buttermilk ferments into a thick, tangy cream.  The term Buttermilk also refers to a range of fermented milk drinks common in warm climates where fresh milk sours quickly. This fermented cow's milk is known as Cultured Buttermilk. Buttermilk should be stored in a fridge.


Cumin and Buttermilk - Herbal remedy for Cholera:  Mix some cumin powder and rock salt with one cup of buttermilk and drink twice a day.
