Cranberry - Herbal remedy for Cystitis: Cranberry is one of the best herbal remedies for cystitis. Quality cranberry juice produces acid in the urine thus preventing bacterial growth. Drink 1 quart of cranberry juice daily.  You must drink pure, unsweetened juice from a quality health store. You can also take cranberry capsules with lots of pure water.

Cranberry Juice – Herbal remedy for E.Coli:  On an empty stomach drink 8 oz. of pure cranberry juice followed immediately by 2 tablespoons of pink bismuth. Do this 3 times a day for 1 week.

Cranberry – Herbal remedy for Frequent Urination:  Cranberry may be beneficial in treating your frequent urination. For more than a century, cranberry juice has been used as a natural remedy for urinary tract infections. Cranberries contain substances which seem to prevent bacteria from sticking to the walls of the urinary tract. Don’t use the highly sweetened cranberry juice you find in supermarkets for this purpose. Instead use unsweetened cranberry juice or cranberry extract tablets available from health food stores.

Cranberry - Herbal remedy for Hemorrhoids:  Chop a quarter cup cranberries. Place 1 tablespoon of the chopped cranberries in a piece of cheesecloth and insert it in the rectum. An hour later, remove the cheesecloth and replace it with another tablespoon of cranberries in cheesecloth for another hour. This is a great pain reliever and by the end of two hours you should feel much better.

Cranberry - Herbal remedy for Urinary Incontinence: Juice and extracts obtained from the cranberry fruit may help promote kidney health and prevent the occurrence of urinary tract infections which are one of the main risk factors for incontinence. Cranberry extract and juice are generally safe to use although excessive consumption can lead to upset stomach and diarrhea.

Cranberry - Herbal remedy for Urinary Tract Infection:  This herb is used in the prevention and treatment of urinary tract infections and cystitis. The recommended dose of cranberry is 75 millilitres per day of cranberry juice or 400-800 milligrams of dry concentrate which is the same as 10-20 grams of fresh berries per day.
Health Warning: Always consult a doctor before using cranberry juice for urinary tract infection treatment. Cranberry should be avoided by patients with renal failure and in those who have a tendency to develop uric acid.
