Corn Silk – Herbal remedy for Frequent Urination:  Corn silk may be helpful in treating frequent urination.To make corn silk tea infuse  a handful of corn silk into a pot of boiling water for 10 minutes. The dosage is a 200 millilitres cup of corn silk tea taken three times a day until the patient is well.

Corn Silk - Herbal remedy for Urinary Incontinence: Gathered from the silky hair-like threads of the corn stalk, corn silk has been a remedy for urinary infections for a long time. Corn silk may have a soothing effect on the urinary tract. Tea bags are available from health stores. To prepare corn silk tea, take one bag and allow it to boil in a cup of water for approximately 10 minutes. Sweeten with sugar or honey if desired. It is advisable to drink this tea at least three times a day, especially if it is being used to treat urinary infections.

Corn Silk - Herbal remedy for Urinary Tract Infection:  Corn silk is another herb that can be taken as a tea to treat the symptoms of UTI. This pale yellow tea is also safe for children to use and has a mild diuretic effect. Corn silk is best used in combination with other stronger antiseptic herbs to treat bladder infections.
