Bugleweed

Other Names: Bugleweed, Water Horehound, Gypsywort, Sweet Bugle, Water Bugle, Virginia Water Horehound, Gypsyweed, Lycopus Virginicus
Traditional Usages: Dyeing, Coughs, Anxiety, Fevers, Palpitations, Controlling Nose Bleeds, Heavy Menstruation, Nervousness, Insomnia, PMS, High Blood Pressure, Tension and pain in the breast.

Possible Side Effects: In rare cases, extended therapy and high dosages of bugleweed preparations have resulted in an enlargement of the thyroid.  Sudden discontinuation of bugleweed preparations can cause increased symptoms of the disease complex. Source:  American Botanical Council.
Administration Method: Ground herb, Freshly pressed juice
