Buchu - Herbal remedy for Urinary Incontinence: The secret behind this medicinal plant likely lies in its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and diuretic properties. Buchu remedies may act like tonics to improve the overall health of the bladder. A tea may be prepared by infusing the buchu leaves in hot water. Similarly, the crushed leaves may be added to thin soups or broth and then strained out before serving. Do not boil the leaves.

Buchu - Herbal remedy for Urinary Tract Infection: Buchu is another popular remedy for urinary tract infections. The leaf of this herb is widely used in western herbal medicine and its primary use is in the treatment of chronic diseases such as bladder and urethra conditions where there is urinary discharges, unusually acidic urine and incontinence linked to prostate disease. Buchu leaf is a diuretic and urinary tract antiseptic.  Buchu can be taken as a tea by infusing 5 grams of dried herbs in hot water. Take it up to four times daily.
