Lemon Grass - Natural remedy for  Cholera: Boil some lemon grass root in water to make a herbal tea. Add honey and drink several times a day.

Lemon Grass - Natural remedy for Colds: Boil three pieces of crushed roots of fresh or dried lemon grass in one litre of water. Strain, add honey and drink as much as possible.

Lemon Grass - Natural remedy for Cough: Boil some chopped fresh or dried lemon grass roots  in two cups of water, mix with one teaspoon of honey and drink twice daily.  

Lemon Grass - Natural remedy for Cystitis: Infuse five chopped stems of lemon grass in boiling water for 10-minutes, strain, add a teaspoon of honey and drink three cups daily.

Lemon Grass – Natural remedy for Flu (Influenza):  Boil two tablespoons of chopped fresh or dried lemon grass in two cups of water, strain, add one teaspoon of honey and drink twice a day.

Lemon Grass – Natural remedy for Head Lice: The stem of lemon grass is antiseptic and antibacterial. The oil extracted from the stem is easily available and used to treat head lice. Apply three tablespoons of oil to scalp and hair and leave for 30 minutes.  Rinse and wash as usual.
