Guggul – Herbal remedy for Heart Disease: Guggul is derived from a type of myrrh tree. It has been shown to lower blood-fat levels while raising levels of HDL, the so called good cholesterol. Take 1000 milligrams of guggul extract three times daily.
Health Warning: Do not use guggul if you have a thyroid disorder.
Guggul - Herbal remedy for Obesity: Guggul is good for obesity. It lowers cholesterol and removes deposited fat quickly. Guggul is the yellowish resin (or gum) that is produced by the mukul (Commiphora mukul) tree which is a small, thorny plant that grows throughout northern India. Guggul is also referred as gugulu. Take a tablet of 25 milligram of guggul extract three times per day.
