Parts Used: Leaves, Fruits, Seeds, Roots, Stems
Administration Method: Crushed or ground seeds for teas, tea-like products, as well as other natural preparations for internal use.

Health Warning: Avoid during Pregnancy. In individual cases allergic reactions of skin and respiratory tract. Fennel preparations should not be used on a prolonged basis (several weeks) without consulting a medical physician or pharmacist.  


Fennel Seeds and Honey – Herbal remedy for Macular Degeneration: Eye washes made with fennel seeds, raw honey and water can clear away potentially toxic residue and as a result promote eye health. Boil one tablespoon of fennel seeds in one cup of water. Add a teaspoon of raw honey. Allow to cool. When cold strain and use as eyewash.
