Bilberry - Herbal remedy for CrampsBilberry is a fruit in the blueberry family that contains similar properties to those found in muscle relaxant drugs. Adults may take a 500 milligram bilberry supplement pill at the time of a leg cramp. Repeat this up to three times every hour as needed.

Bilberry - Herbal remedy for Ulcers, Peptic: Bilberry is used to treat ulcers. It reduces inflammation in the stomach and intestines and protects their fragile mucous membranes. Bilberry tea can be made by infusing the dried bilberry leaves or fruits in hot water. Infuse one teaspoon of dried bilberry leaves in a cup of hot water. Strain and drink before meals for a week.

Bilberry - Herbal remedy for Vision Loss: Bilberry contains powerful antioxidants that protect the eyes from free radical damage. Bilberry also builds up the small blood vessels that transport oxygen to the eyes, making it effective in improving night vision. Take 1-2 thirds of a cup of a standardized bilberry extract or take a half teaspoon of liquid bilberry extract two to three times daily.
