Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Anxiety: Chamomile reduces stress pain and promotes restful sleep. One teaspoon of fresh or dried chamomile can be boiled in water and taken as a herbal tea at bedtime. Chamomile is also available as teabags.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Back Pain: Chamomile has a calming effect on smooth muscle tissue. Take it as 1-3 cups of tea, 10-20 drops of extract in a cup of liquid or 1-3 capsules daily.

Chamomile – Herbal remedy for Body Rash: Chamomile is very effective in treating body rash and itching. Fresh chamomile flowers can be crushed into a paste and applied to the skin. Dried chamomile flowers can be left to soak in a little water then crushed and applied to the skin. Make a herbal tea, soak a cloth in it and apply over affected area.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Burns: When applied to external burns, chamomile is believed to relieve pain and speed healing. Applying a chamomile tea compress provides quick pain relief and a reduction in inflammation. Make a burn compress by infusing 2-3 teaspoons of dried chamomile flowers in 1 cup of hot water for 15 minutes, straining and cooling in the freezer. Soak a clean cloth in the cold tea and apply directly to burns for 15 minutes at a time. Repeat as needed.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Colic: Chamomile is a calming herb and can be used to ease intestinal cramping in colicky infants. It can be taken as a herbal tea and teabags are available. Nursing mothers should drink one cup of chamomile tea a day as long as the baby is being nursed and colic continues. The effects of this are cumulative, and it might take 3 weeks to take effect.
Health Warning: Do not give chamomile to a baby because it can cause an allergic reaction.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Conjunctivitis: Chamomile is well known effective eye tonic. Infuse one teaspoon of dried flowers in one cup of boiling water. Let it cool down for five minutes then strain and use as eyewash.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Cough:  Many types of herbal tea can help end a cough but black tea and chamomile tea are considered the best. To prepare the tea properly, pour hot water into a heat-resistant mug along with a tea bag of your choice. Let the tea infuse for about one minute and add a splash of lemon juice and a tablespoon of honey. The lemon juice will help release the healing enzymes from the tea into the water, and the honey will help lubricate your throat to relieve inflammation. Drink slowly.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Cramps:  Chamomile has been found to contain fairly strong antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory constituents. Therefore it has been found to be effective in treating stomach and intestinal cramps. If you are using teabags, prepare a cup of chamomile tea following the directions on the package and drink it twice a day while symptoms are present (one cup first thing in the morning, and one in the evening). You can also add 2 teaspoons of dried chamomile flowers to a cup of boiling water and let it infuse for at least 5 minutes. Honey or sugar can be added for taste. A good preventive measure is to start drinking chamomile tea a couple of days before you are expecting your period, and then drink at least 2 cups everyday during your period. It also feels great if you use your hot mug as a hot compress for your lower abdomen while you are drinking it.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Dehydration:  Drink chamomile tea three times daily. 

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Depression:  Infuse some fresh or dried chamomile in one cup of boiling water for 10 minutes strain and drink three cups daily.

Chamomile – Herbal remedy for E.Coli: Drink three cups of chamomile tea per day. 

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Epilepsy: Chamomile is revered for its sedating properties and you can safely consume this herb up to three times a day for the treatment of seizure disorders. Chamomile helps to relax your body and your nervous system. You can consume chamomile as a tea or you can consume this herb at a dose of two 700 milligrams capsules three times every day.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Fatigue: Drink three cups of chamomile tea throughout the day. Infuse a teaspoon of fresh chamomile in a cup of boiling water, strain and drink.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Fever: Drink chamomile tea three times a day.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Fungal Infection: Use chamomile, which has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, both internally and externally. Make a herbal tea with chamomile teabags and drink the tea three times daily. Also use chamomile tea to wash the affected area. 

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Gastritis:   If you are not allergic to chamomile, drink chamomile tea three times daily.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Gastroenteritis: Chamomile is a herbal remedy that may be effective in treating your stomach flu. It has a sweet, aromatic and slightly bitter taste. The fresh or dried flowers of the plant are used to treat many stomach and intestinal problems including gastroenteritis. It is available in teabags. Use just like ordinary teabags. Use one bag and infuse in one cup of hot water. Drink on its own or add a little honey. Drink three times daily until you feel better.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Gingivitis: Chamomile may be used to prevent gingivitis by preparing a strong chamomile tea to be used as a mouthwash or drink as a tea.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Herpes;  Another herb which can be very effective is chamomile. You can have chamomile as a herbal tea.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Hives:  Drink three cups of chamomile tea daily. Direct application of chamomile tea on the affected area with the use of a clean cotton cloth may also provide the desired results. Apply chamomile essential oil to the affected area. Taking a bath with a mixture of water and chamomile flowers can help in the treatment of hives.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Insomnia: Chamomile is a safe herb which can be used by both adults and children. You can drink chamomile tea to treat insomnia. 

Chamomile – Herbal remedy for Irritable Bowel Syndrome:  Drink chamomile herbal tea three times daily.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Measles: Chamomile tea can help relieve coughs and sore throats. The herb also has a calming effect and can help induce sleep. A few drops of chamomile essential oil can be added to bath water. It is also very soothing and good for the skin.
Health Warning: Caution should be used as some people are allergic to chamomile.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Migraine: Infuse some fresh chamomile in boiling water for 10 minutes or use teabags to make an infusion. Drink while still hot.

Chamomile – Herbal remedy for Morning Sickness: Drink three cups of chamomile infusion per day. Infuse a chamomile tea bag in a cup of boiling water for 10 minutes. Strain and drink.

Chamomile – Herbal remedy for Nappy Rash: Chamomile in the form of a cream has the ability to reduce the swelling and inflammation often associated with nappy rash.

Chamomile – Herbal remedy for Panic Disorder:  Take an infusion of chamomile tea three times a day.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Phobias: Drink chamomile tea three times daily.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder: Take two 350 milligram capsules of the powdered extract three times a day or mix a tablespoon of the chamomile flowers into a cup of tea and drink three times a day.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Rashes:  Chamomile cream has the ability to reduce the swelling and inflammation often associated with skin irritations, especially eczema and rash.

Chamomile – Herbal remedy for Restless Legs Syndrome: Chamomile tea is used for its calming benefits; however, it has been used as a tranquilizer and sedative since the times of the ancient Egyptians. Chamomile reduces sleep difficulties caused by restless legs syndrome.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Rhinitis: Boil chamomile in water and inhale fumes from the water.  It is very beneficial for chronic rhinitis.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Shingles: Chamomile is another herb that can be used to treat shingles. Shingles is a very painful condition and can weigh on the nerves of the shingles sufferer. To remedy this, chamomile tea can be used as a sedative to calm the nerves of people who are suffering from shingles.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Sleep Apnea:  Sleep apnea can also be caused by irritants that constrict the sinuses. Chamomile soothes irritated sinuses. Chamomile tea has a pleasant and comforting taste. Use just like ordinary teabags. Use one bag and infuse in one cup of hot water. Drink on its own or add a little honey. Drink three times daily until you feel better

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Sores: Chamomile blossoms have therapeutic essential oils that soothe irritation and reduce inflammation. Chamomile essential oils are available from herbal stores.  Apply a few drops on the sores.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Teeth Clenching:  The flowers are used to treat stress, anxiety, indigestion and stomach cramps. Chamomile is rich in volatile oil, flavonoids and has anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic actions. Chamomile may help with alignment problems by relieving inflammation in the joints and muscles around your jaw. You can take chamomile before bedtime to relax your jaw muscles and prevent tooth grinding and teeth clenching during the night.

Chamomilla - Herbal remedy for Teething: Chamomilla is a single dose homeopathic remedy. The easiest way to give a baby the dose is to simply crush the very small tablet with a spoon and add a drop of water.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Vertigo: Drink chamomile tea three times a day. Prepare tea by infusing one teaspoon of chamomile flowers in a cup of boiling water.

Chamomile - Herbal remedy for Vomiting: A cup of chamomile tea will help expel gas, ease digestion and relieve your nausea.
