Anxiety:  Anxiety should not be confused with fear. It is more of a dreaded feeling about something which appears intimidating and can overcome an individual. Most people experience anxiety in life as it is a common reaction to real or perceived threats. However when anxiety becomes overwhelming, it may fall under the classification of an anxiety disorder.

Anxiety takes several forms including phobia, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive and post-traumatic stress. Anxiety symptoms may include heart palpitations, perspiration, muscle weakness, fatigue, nausea, chest pain, headache, stomach ache and tension. Someone who suffers from anxiety can also have a panic attack.
